UE4 client development engineer

Gameplay expert

Job Description:
1. Responsible for design and development of Gameplay core module;
2. In charge of UE5 engine, assisting art and planning to establish efficient production standards and processes, and expanding tool chain related to development of Gameplay to ensure quality and increase production capacity;
3. Performance analysis and optimization
4. explore new engine features, and can be implemented in the project
5. Customized transformation and optimization of UE5 according to project requirements

Qualifications:
1. computer or related major, bachelor degree or above, love games;
2. more than three years of UE4/UE5 development experience, at least a complete participation in the online project;
3. Proficient in C++ and Lua, familiar with commonly used data structures and algorithms;
4. have a certain UE4/UE5 engine practice experience, familiar with its framework and main module functions;
5. good at communication, sense of responsibility and teamwork;
6. Experience in mobile platform performance analysis and optimization is preferred;
7. Rich experience in frame design, rendering, animation, network synchronization, physics, game AI, combat and other technical fields is preferred;

Technical art

Job responsibility
1. Provide necessary technical support for the art team, closely integrate with the art and procedures, and assist in the coordination and communication of the scheme
2. Responsible for the material production of art assets, and the construction of Shader related to characters, scenes and special effects with art
3. Standardized implementation of art assets, so as to optimize the content and production methods of art assets, and improve performance
4. Can promote the optimization of performance on the basis of ensuring a certain picture effect
5. Clearly analyze and point out existing problems and improvement plans according to the picture effect

Job requirement
1. 3 + years working experience in game industry
2. Familiar with rendering module and pipeline of UE engine, have a certain understanding of rendering pipeline and graphics API, have a good graphics foundation, and master PBR theory
3. Strong research ability
4. Good written and oral communication skills
5. Experience with tools such as RenderDoc to quickly identify and improve image errors
6. Familiar with Slate module of UE engine and able to develop related auxiliary tools

Bonus point
1. 3 + years technical art related experience preferred
2. Experience in the development of open world realistic products is preferred
3. Familiar with programmatic generation software (such as SD, SP, Houdini, etc.)
4. Understand the advantages and limitations of multiple platforms, familiar with multiple game modules and related art flow
